Water Heater Repair & Installation in Gladstone, MO
No hot water, rusty water or a leaking tank — repaired, or replaced with a properly sized new unit.
Most Kansas City water heaters last somewhere between eight and fifteen years, and they rarely fail politely. The symptoms we get called about are hot water that runs out halfway through a shower, rusty or metallic-smelling hot water, popping and rumbling from the tank, a pilot that won't stay lit, or a puddle spreading across the basement floor.
Not every one of those means replacement. A failed thermocouple, a burnt-out heating element, a bad gas control valve, a tripped high-limit switch or a spent anode rod are all repairs, and if a repair is the right call on a tank with life left in it, that's what we'll recommend. We'll tell you the age of your unit off the serial number so you know what you're deciding about.
When replacement is the answer, sizing matters more than brand. We look at how many bathrooms you have, how your household actually uses hot water, and what the venting and gas supply in your house will support, then install a correctly sized unit with new flex connectors, a new temperature-and-pressure relief valve, a proper discharge line and an expansion tank where your system needs one. The old unit leaves with us.
